Summer of 99!

Phew....

Time is surely a bitch. Well, I actually thought about writing in about he first time train ride to the place where I "wasted" four years trying to become what I never actually thought I wanted to be, but I have changed my mind, and am going to write about my perception of time, space, energy and matter.

Here I go. Please do not read this blog because it is going to be very boring to the most of you, and it is just my perception, and nothing to with either physics or meta-physics.

Most of the things that I have learnt about philosophy were from others who were well-read, or atleast aware of the concepts of what they spoke about. One of them told me a long time back that the universe consists of primarily 4 things : Space, Time, Energy and Matter. After his mentioning that began a series of very educating and healthy discussions.

My first response to his statement was the equation E=mc^2, and that we could eliminate either 'Energy' or 'Matter' from the list of constituents that he had listed. We eliminated 'Matter' for convenience sake causwe we could convert energy into its various forms with simple equations and chemical/physical relations/equations, but 'Matter' just changed its states and/or disappeared to give energy. AFAIK, we have not yet created Matter from Energy till now. Whatever, we were left with, 'Energy', 'Space', and 'Time'.

Then was the question about whether or not agree with Einstein about non-existence (or stopping) of time when travelling at high-speeds (close or equal to the speed of light). I disagreed with that because:
1) I read in the newspaper about a group of scientist who actually brought down the speed of light to 27 m/s, and their speculations that light is slowing down with time. If that be the case, then 'Time' and 'Velocity of light' have something relating them. What could that be? That is beyond the scope of my tiny brain's understanding. (Modesty is the better policy!)
2) If we could stop time by travelling at the speed of light, then after that stage is reached (technology producing ships to attain that fast a speed), then the growth of technology cannot be further justified! Exponential? NO, it would be a spike growth! LOL! Do not ask me what I am trying to explain. I sincerely do not know that myself.

It is easier to believe and slightly follow the string theory, about bending space to make travel instantaneously from one point to another. Whatever, somehow we concluded that 'Time' does not exist, and that it was just a manifestation of space itself.

Then came the most confusing part of everything.

Should we actually believe in our mythology? Is what is said in the scriptures with no 'Date or "Time"' mentioned on them actually true?

I know that most of you would not be knowing about what the "Hindu" scriptures say about the beginning of the universe. Well, it is simple, as simple as the Adam and Eve theory in the Biblical stories. There is the universal father and mother, called "Shiva" and "Shakti", (Word meanings are "Space", the counter-part of the divine mother, and "Energy", the divine mother)

How did I find out the meaning of "Shiva"? Well, :-) I read in a book on "Tantra"(the so-called Hindu Black-magic, which is actually, in my perception, advanced acoustics), where is was mentioned as the universal pair, "Shakti-Shakta" as "Energy-Space" and in the explanation part of it, it was written that people would more commonly know this as "Shakti and Shiva".

Is this the answer? Is what we are searching for actually, already written in those scriptures that we modern day 'intelligent' humans not bothering to look at, calling them 'superstitious' or whatever. What could be more embarassing to us (all humans with no discrimination on sex/caste/creed/fatih)) that we search and research on something, and finally land-up finding what is written in the good-old books being the final answer to all our questions?

Its high time to practise all the things that we were taught when we were kids.

"Be good to others!"
